Lead Project Planner

  • Job Context

    We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Project Panner to join our team on a one-year contract renewal basis, subject to satisfactory performance and significant contributions to the organization.

  • Job Responsibility

    ➢ Conversion of study schedule to the project scheduling using the approved project
    software package.
    ➢ Creation, implementation and maintenance of project schedules.
    ➢ Coordinating of project reporting in accordance with company, client, regulatory and
    contractual requirements.
    ➢ Coordinates project planning teams on daily and weekly tasks.
    ➢ Manage and coordinate inputs from various team members including engineers,
    procurement and project management personnel in order to establish a highly accurate
    and detailed project schedule.
    ➢ Provide leadership and manage planners.
    ➢ Identify project critical path and immediately point out any actual or potential changes
    to the critical path.
    ➢ Attend project control meetings to regularly update on guidance and goals for the
    coming week and beyond.
    ➢ Constant communication with managers in charge to provide accurate reports, updates
    and feedbacks on time.
    ➢ Assist maintenance manager by providing required documents needed for submission
    of project progress reports.
    ➢ Encourage and build a positive workplace culture and environment.
    ➢ Report to managers immediately for industry related incidents as per company’s policy
    and procedures.
    ➢ Register, maintain and file all relevant documents related to site activities in accordance
    to the company approved procedures.

    ➢ Mentor team members and provide avenues of development.

  • Educational Requirement

    ➢ Bachelor’s degree in related field.
    ➢ Master’s degree in Project Management is preferred.

    ➢ Must be a Project Management Professional for not less than ten years.

  • Experience Requirement

    1. ➢ Must have more than Ten years working experience in the mining industry.
      ➢ Proven experience in project management preferably in the mining industry
      ➢ Proven experience with Primavera Software and Microsoft XP
